GH Family Business Consulting LLC Becomes Official Sponsor of the 2021 Race Against Racism

Today, GH Family Business Consulting LLC announced that it had become a Peace sponsor of the 2021 Race Against Racism.  The race is in its 23rd year and will be held on April 24, 2021 in downtown Lancaster, PA.  The mission of the YWCA Lancaster is to eliminate racism and empower women.  Their mission aligns well with GH Family Business Consulting LLC’s focus on “Serving All Families. and Serving All Industries.”  The race supports the YWCA’s efforts to implement their mission throughout the year.  GH Family Business Consulting LLC is pleased to be able to support the YWCA in their efforts.

Sanford H. High is Recognized by ARTBA

The posthumous honor pays tribute to individuals or families who have made extraordinary contributions to US transportation development and have demonstrated exceptional leadership over their lifetimes.

Sanford High was inducted in the Innovators category for “pioneering the welded bridge concept, saving time and money for cash-strapped highway departments during the Great Depression.” Highway bridges typically had used more expensive riveted construction prior to welding. High convinced skeptical engineers that highway bridges presented a new frontier for welding instead of riveting.
